Today John and I went to the Travel and Adventure show at Rosemont. It was fun. We took the bus...then the train...then walked in the rain and it really felt like traveling!
We didn't really know what to expect and that was good. It was mostly just specific tourist pushers and passers in one way or another. But we made the Incredible India guys laugh a lot. And the lady at the Thailand table was cracking up because John was doing her job better than she was. It was fun.
We made maybe 1 or 2 good connections and I think that's a real success! One of them is really good and just for me...I'll let you know about it if it happens.
And then for reasons I just can't even go into, we ended up walking hmmm...about maybe 2 miles in the ice rain? It was really awful and it just happened and, well, we're really glad to be home tonight.
Anyway, it was fun to go to the show and fun to be excited about it and it helps us know that we're doing something we like and interests us and makes us laugh and be excited is really good.
