What a great weekend. Friday was date night. Saturday I took a TV person around the Pedway, you know, scoutin' some locations. It was really fun. Saturday night I spent by myself watching Buffy. I'm totally back into Buffy. Just started Season 3. It is SO good. Buffy rules, every time.
Sunday I had a Second City tour (hi Erica!) and then took my bike to the beach for a beach day with friends. Planes zooming overhead, food and drinks and fine conversation, all while sitting in the humidity-free sun. Felt so good.
This summer, from what I can tell, has been the summer of awesome for so many. We were all talking about it yesterday, that there has been very little we've all denied ourselves this summer. I think it has a lot to do with everyone (in my world) having jobs. So many of us were out of work, so many of us struggling last summer - not much fun. This summer all of us who weren't working now are and are happy and enjoying themselves. It's really nice.
I'm not looking forward to days like today going away, I try not to think about it much. Winter. Guh.
So I enjoy today, don't take it for granted, work and exercise and friends and dinners and all the great things that make life fun.

if you can get me one of those job things, that'd be swell.
yet, i've also had an awesome summer with no job. i think it's because we've had an awesome summer. well, for someone like me who loves a real summer with real heat and real thunderstorms.
okay. that's it. back to cleaning.
