Melange

First off, a big heidi ho and congratulations to Fuzzy and Erica. They be gettin’ married! It’s really neat because I knew them both totally separately before they ever knew each other and then during and after and it’s just really cool. Erica is ridiculously happy, teary and excited. Who would have guessed? Erica and Fuzzy? Although now that they are together, it makes nothing but perfect sense. So yip to both of them and what a fun wedding thats going to be.

Okay, it’s been so busy today! Yes it has. Love it. Totally love it. What I love most about my new job is the way they treat me like I’m actually an adult with a really valid opinion. They ask me what I think and I just got here for petes sakes. They call me into the room when they’re having a discussion to explain to me what the discussion is about, teach me, without glossing over things.

And I just went in and sat with our president (no not GW) while he was signing some things and listening to him go on and on about these million dollar deals. It’s really neat.

I have eaten no sugar today, besides natural fruit sugar. After last nights dinner that ended with oreos and ice cream, I got really freaked out I was going to give myself diabetes. Seriously. I’ve been eating way too much goodies. I’m proud, it’s like not smoking, but with sugar. I would like to be completely non addicted one of these days.

Snowing this morning, first day of December, I love the snow.

John and I went and had dinner last night with his very hep aunt and uncle. Steaks and broccoli, doesn’t get much better. (Right, and the oreos and ice cream) They live by the Viagra Triangle at State, Rush and Chestnut or Elm or whatever that is. They live on the 14th floor of a high-rise and it’s so weird to be up there like that. Looking out over the city, it really feels like you’re floating. And staring into other people’s apartments is odd, John thought he saw some porn.

Tonight, Survivor, tape of Lost and maybe an episode of Americas Next Top Model I got on dvd.

Yip!
