Ah my mom is having hard times these days, something wrong with her blood pressure.
However, her humor is still so in tact, as shown by calling her doctor, Dr. Mogilescu, Dr. Zhivago, which has actually been cracking me up all day.
BUT! This is not what I wanted to discuss today. I’ve been thinking about the Sears Tower. The Sears Tower seems to be the building I have the least to say about on my tour. I sort of have this to say:
It sure is tall
And black
And that’s about it. There is a very amazing way it was erected with “bundled tubes”, however, this makes no sense to me so I tend not to talk about it. It has something to do with one pencil (A tube) being more breakable than 10 pencils (a bundled tube).
I can talk about the guy who tried to climb up it, but there’s not much more to say about it than that.
I can talk about how it sways back and forth, sometimes the distance of a foot. That’s kind of a good one.
The engineer who worked on it was named Faizlur Kahn, which is one of my favorite names ever, maybe I could mention that.
I know it has a cold, stark plaza that no one can fix, I suppose I could say that too.
mmm…I can talk about how much wiring and electricity is in it, but that never meant anything to me when I heard it.
It’s not even the tallest anymore.
Now I love the ST, don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan and I hope no one ever hurts it ever, ever..but what else is there to say?
It’s tall and black, like Michael Jordan.
I think Rob and Ambah are going to be out tonight, I have a feeling. But it doesn’t matter, I love them anway.
