All over the place

Ah, man I sure do love Mondays.

The feel of a new week ahead of me. That crazy feeling of “anything can happen”, the rush of the 1st hour of work and the pleasure of the fast walkin, fast talkin’ city that just gets me going.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH eh…no.

I had a nice enough weekend, Saturday I laid around and Sunday I definitely did not. So one of each is fair I suppose.

Quiet as a mouse was out again this weekend and didn’t say a word to anyone, and I said nothing to her, I said hello and left it at that. The thing is, she’s apparently after a friend of mine, which is why she subjects herself to no talking in smoky bars with people she has nothing in common with waiting for a man who will not show up at the bar where she is.

Now lest you all start feeling sorry for this girl, or think she’s some sad old sack. She is not, she is quite cute, tiny small with long blonde hair and a cute little face. She might “swing” a little bit and told J. she might like to make some amateur porn. So..if she can’t say that with a bunch of likewise dirty minded improvisers, then that is not my fault.

I took myself on my Modern Skyscrapers tour on Sunday and did okay, but found I was a half hour short! Yikes! That’s a lot, especially when you’re getting tested on Saturday. I just got add some fun facts about the Sears Tower and throw in another building or two. I’m currently reading a biography of Daniel Burnham and it is a blast, amazing enough, so far there is nothing I didn’t really already know, but now we’re getting to the Columbian Exposition stuff and that is awesome.

My stomper above me has gotten himself a girlfriend and what I think might be a brand new puppy. My ceiling fan is shaking from all the pressure and I avoid it like a scared slinking cat each time I walk by, just in case it happens to crash.

Tonight Charlie goes home to meet the girl’s families. Don’t cry Charlie, cheer up Charlie.
