Oh 4th of July. How I love thee.

I saw my mom this morning, we had a really nice, quiet talk. We don't get that that often, when she's truly focused enough to really talk. I savor these ones, it's as close as I get to have having my mom.

Now I'm headed for Bloody Marys with my favorite people ever, then off to a bbq with some also favorite people.

And I couldn't care less that the sun isn't out. This nice cool weather is perfect for walks and hanging out.
