So, Kate sent me this link and it's a Dickensurl. It's like a tiny URL but you get a Dickens quote. Thank you Kate. It's pretty fun, I put in chicagostories.blogspot and this is the quote it pulled up:

(Deportment by the way, means good behavior, like a child at school. I had to look it up)
Anyway, I just loved it so much. Reminds me of why I love Dickens. Read it out loud, it's absolutely rhythmic. More Dickens for me.

Thank you guys who read this and comment or don't but silently wish me well. It means a lot. And each day I think more and more that I should just do it. So yeah...I need a little more information but I feel good and strong about it all....mostly.
I was thinking of some friends of mine and decisions they're making, decisions for the better and I notice that I think we're asking permission. I know I do on the big decisions in life. My brothers especially, when I'm not sure which direction to go. A lot of times though I'm asking them to tell me its okay, to do what I want to, to make the right decision. My one brother was key in going to Thailand "just go, if you want to, go. You're allowed." Sometimes we just need to be told we're allowed to move forward. I have another friend who's making a hard decision, should he go or stay? It seems silly to go, risky, weird, uncomfortable...but he wants to go. I've been trying to be really open in making sure he has permission.
Sometimes it just helps to hear people say YES and GO FOR IT and ENJOY IT.
So thank you all for saying it.

I, too, say yea. and yay. Unlike Dan, my lawyering is only useful in situations you REALLY don't want to be in, but there are plenty o' free legal resources for new small businesses around the city. Let me know if you're not finding them and I'll see what I can dig up.
