It's here its here!

I can't believe it!

I woke up at about 6:30 and decided there was no way in hell I was going back to sleep. I walked Buddy and took a walk over to our polling place (me? I voted weeks ago, the day after I got laid off!) and there was a nice long line of people waiting. I'm very excited! I know its going to be okay, I just know it is.

Due to the coolness of my friend Dan and the fact that I'm not working, I signed up for Nanowrimo after coming up with a story I like this morning freaking out about election day and not being able to go back to sleep.

So yay to Dan and yay to me and yes I have a few days to catch up but you know what? I don't have a job!

I don't know, all over the place today.

Tonight? I can't bear to go to Grant Park, I realize its historic and something about being in the middle of this city, with Obama leading the way, of course sounds like fun. But the reality of it is, no one is going to see Obama, its going to be a madhouse, I'll never be able to get home on the trains and I just can't bear to be around one million of my closest friends. I'd rather sit in my warm house, with my husband and my dog, and a bajillion pundits and maps telling me just what I need to know. Oh....and the pizza buffet. Did I mention the pizza buffet?

I'm going to the rally....I know it's going to be crazy, but I figured...I've survived Woodstock '99 and Lollapalooza, I can handle me some Obama rally. I'll take lots of pics for you! Keep on being awesome!!
