Curious

Well, just got a call from my friend John, he’s going back into the Humane Society to look at two different cats we met yesterday. One, a tiny moviestar with pretty eyes and pretty coloring and an alert and bright little face, and one named “Curious” a boy, half gray, half white, who when John picked him up, burrowed his head deep into arm crooks and started purring. I hope to hear back from him soon.

Such a trip going to the Humane Society, the cat rooms are pretty fun. John (my beyonce John, you handsome thing) is allergic, otherwise we would definitely have cats. And some of these cats are SO old, like 10 and 12 and FAT and they are awesome and I would take them in a second. My constitution would not be able to handle taking care of old dogs, but I think I would love to help out some old cats if I could.

We snuck over to the doggy side and that was just a bad idea in a million different ways. There was a dog there who would have come home with me on a different day, well maybe two dogs, or …I dunno, all the dogs. I just…well…another day.

Check it, my dad (who passed away when I was 18) invented a game a long time ago and here it is in its first incantation:

And here it is all 2008!

How cool huh?

Anyway, my insides are all flippy and my outside is obviously intoxicatingly beautiful, but the weather and kitties and doggies and beyonces and good salads and secret missions all make for a happy Hixx.

Good day sirs!

you know, my sources tell me that if you were to wash a cat with this special shampoo for a week or so, it'd become hypoallergenic. or something. basically, you COULD gewt a cat.... i'm just sayin is all.

I have a beautiful cat in my house right now that your friend can have! Fresh from MS! Really sweet! A girl about a year and a half old. Black. Precious. Send me an email--it would be a huge help and I can talk to him if you want.

Thanks!
