Heyo!
Well, not sick, but man does my body still feel tired, I don’t know what up, but I can tell you that last night was lovely. I was so so so lazy and it felt great. Really great.
I finished reading Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire and I think I enjoyed this one the most so far. Definitely the first three books were all over the place, sometimes I think Rowling has thoughts or ideas in her head and she weaves those thoughts and ideas into the story, just to get them in there. I think Prisoner of Azkaban started to get her more focused on an actual plot and storyline (not just cool scenes where she added a bad guy because she thought she might need one). I think GOF really was really narrowed down, with a fine plotline to carry all the crazy things that happened. The ties that bind the story together weren’t so flimsy this time, but made a little more sense.
And I cried cried cried when Harry’s parents come out of Voldemort’s wand at the end when Harry’s all broken and bruised, and his mom comes out of the wand and Harry’s about to cave and she says “Hold on, your father is coming” and then the dad comes out and oh man…I started crying telling John about it at lunch and I’m crying about it now. I don’t know what about that just kills me but it does.
Now I’m starting “Loving Frank”, a historical fiction novel about Frank Lloyd Wright…um…hello! I’m sure I’ll be done in five minutes…I’m all excited.
So this weekend is filled up with things, fun things, but lots of things…mostly wedding dress shopping, hopefully, we’ll get this puppy wrapped up.
Because that’s what I’m going to wear, a puppy. A white puppy.
One fun thing I get to do this weekend, even though it’s supposed to be rainy and cold tomorrow and I have to get up at 6AM to do it, but I have my river tour refresher cruise tomorrow! RIVER TOURS ARE BACK! I’m stoked.
I’m very much looking forward to next weekend (I know Tolle, don’t be looking forward to next weekend, but enjoy the present moment…but still…my present moment is about looking forward to next weekend) when I don’t have to get up for anything, go anywhere, do anything…ahhhhh.

oh man. I spent so many train rides hiding tears due to these books. Goblet of Fire was the point where I was totally hooked too. Just wait for the next books. I read them all in a row non-stop and was mad for them all.
