YES CHEF!

So wow! When did Chef Ramsey become the coolest guy ever? Oh, he’s always been that way? Good to know.

John and I were crying last night when he offered Julia the money to go to culinary school. I thought she was going to win, I really did. You could tell Chef loved her. She should be feeling awesome. I almost think that’s a better prize, for her especially. How cool is he? We’ve been watching the Kitchen Nightmares too. I just love me some Chef Ramsey.

Let’s see, I also just finished reading The Plot Against America by Phillip Roth about what it would be like if Lindbergh had been President during WWII. It was pretty good. Did anyone else read this? I got confused towards the end. You know, if you read a book like this, you expect to see how America would turn. And it did kinda, but not to the degree I was hoping for. It got scary right in the beginning, my heart was breaking for the main characters, but then…I dunno, it just never went where I wanted it to go. Which I’m sure he did on purpose. But still. I’m on to a new book now. I book I read about in my Entertainment Weekly that got me all excited. I’m going to hold off on talking about it, but I read a few pages at lunch and um…I can’t wait to read more more MORE.

Speaking of reading books MORE MORE MORE, I was telling John how we had seen the preview for Into The Wild before we saw 1408. It looks fine, pretty good, I’ll go see it probably. But part of the greatness of that book is Krakauers writing. That guy knows how to build suspense.

So of course, me being the Everest/Survival/Bear Grylls (come on, he counts, he has a book on Everest too you know, youngest Brit ever to summit), my favorite book in all the land is Into Thin Air. And I’ve been really enjoying the Entourage bits. Because Vinnie’s new movie is so obviously based on this book, (the title of the movie in Entourage is “Lost in the Clouds”, mighty similar) and there are all these little Into Thin Air jokes I’m getting into.

Yay Entourage.

I guess this post is about TV huh?

So tonight I check out Holly Hunter’s new show, Saving Grace, and also the new Glenn Close show. John’s favorite new thing, movie stars in TV shows. We’ll see.

No one yet!

We still have Rock, Scary Jen and Bonnie in the running.

Getting down to the wire....

Excellent. I like Rock.

I like Rock too, but brother's got an attitude.

But I certainly can't imagine Jen or Bonnie beating him.

I only got to watch a little more than half of Saving Grace, but so far, I love it! Yay Holly Hunter! Tonight, I watch the rest. BTW, have you watched Greek at all? I thought I would hate it, but turns out I'm in love.

For some reason its taping my Saving Grace like...tonight at 2Am or something, so I haven't seen it yet.

But I'm looking forward to it, because I love Holly Hunter. She can do very little wrong.
