I’m surprised no one recommended someone for kinda hot Wednesday. Do I just ask wrong?
Either way, I’ll be back next week…wait, maybe I won’t, next week is the 4th of July. My favorite holiday in all the year. So…my handsome boyfriend and I took off some days, so actually, Kinda Hot Wednesday might not happen at all next week. Let’s just say Uncle Sam is who it is for next Weds okay?
Things are crazy once again, I said this was going to be the year of hard work. And it is. But man oh man is it fun. I have this work project, a book I’m writing for my company, and I have to cruise now, really concentrate. But it’s so cool, cause I’m supposed to work on it here, during the days, instead of being a measly admin like I usually am. I cannot tell you the difference in one’s day when you’re going to work in a nice office, with plenty of diet coke and chocolate chip cookies, but you’re working on something creative and exciting and excellent.
If I can finish this…WHEN I finish this, I’m hoping it will really take me to something else in my “career”. We’ll see.
But what I wanted to talk about today was summer TV. What’s everyone watching?
I’m watching:
A. Hell’s Kitchen
B. Top Chef
C. Real World Vegas Reunion (shut up, it’s a blast)
D. Entourage
E. Last Comic Standing-which I watched to see if a friend had made it and now I’m hooked. You know, I used to work at the old Improv Comedy Club on Wells, and I loved it. I love watching stand-ups. I don’t know what it is. But I love it. Part of me believes I should be a booker, or an agent, because I could honestly watch all day long. A friend of mine is currently on it, Dwayne Kennedy. Dwayne is old school, he was old school 10 years ago. And he’s awesome. Go Dwayne.
F. Tonight I’m Tivo’ing Paula Abdul’s show and also um…shoot that new one about the spy..shoot…Burn…Notice! Burn Notice. They said it’s a little “Alias-y” and I loved Alias, so.
G. I also really want to watch the new Holly Hunter show, Saving Grace. That’s supposed to be good.
H. And I want to watch the new Glenn Close series, that’s supposed to be good too.
So what is everyone else watching? Am I missing anything? And why in the sam hell did they take off Friday Night Lights re-runs? Stupid.

i love people who say 'sam hell.' i really want tivo. gah. also, instead of actual uncle sam for next week, can we have that eagle dude from the muppet show? he is kinda hot.
for this week .... how about nick lachey? did you do him yet? he's 'kinda' hot. like i don't want to like him AT ALL, but sometimes i look at him and i'm like ... yeah, he's kinda hot.
