Daily Bread

Another quiet weekend. I love them. I truly do. Yesterday was a dream day of breakfast, a long walk, some writing, some cleaning, some TV. Everything in moderation right? Plus, John made chili, delicious delicious chili. Which is good, cause…

I’m going to try and cut out bread.

At first I thought I was going to do the Atkins thing. But now I think not. First of all, if I’m not going to be eating bread (GOD I LOVE BREAD) then I must have something else to eat besides hamburger patties. And that will be veggies. I think any diet, even for a few short days, that asks you not to eat veggies is stupid. And fruit too.

But I’m going to try and lay off bread and potatoes.
These are staples of my food eating.
It’s like I’m a Russian.

So today I had yogurt for breakfast (see? Fruit and sugar, but so good) and for lunch I had two hard-boiled eggs (yum) and salami and cheese (yum but gross).
What do people eat if they don’t eat sandwiches?
Tonight I’ll have chili, but then what happens tomorrow? More yogurt? More salami? More cheese? More chili? Are these the only four things I can ever eat again? Ack.
Good thing I like cheese and eggs.

Now, if I followed Atkins and didn’t eat veggies, I honestly don’t know what I would eat.

I just want to see if I have more energy (bet I will) and if I feel better (bet I will) from laying off all that white food.

Am I going to be okay?
