Remember, the black and gold dear

Well well well, it’s been an interesting few days.

My friend Katey posted a comment on this blog. Katey, my Theta friend from back in my sorority days. Yup. I was a Kappa Alpha Theta, some would say I still am (I still know the handshake, just like every other Greek handshake), but I think I was supposed to graduate from college, which I never did. Huh. Anyway, how nice to be transported back to that time out of nowhere. Maybe I’ll get to go see them at the Theta picnic that just happens to be going on this weekend, when we will be in Indianapolis, where the Theta picnic is!

Birthday! Tomorrow! I love my birthday.

Last night my friends Dori and Ross took me out to dinner at Cullens. It was such a nice time with my friends. Usually I want big parties and drinking, this year I just wanted to hang with the peeps I love.

HOWEVER, Dori wanted to make sure she was represented properly on my blog, which I appreciate; it’s a sign of respect for the Hixx blog, so I figured I’d do her a solid and post another pic.

And can I just say one more thing about Chef Ramsey and Hells Kitchen? WHAT IS IT WITH THE RISOTTO?! Never, in this whole season of Hell’s Kitchen, has anyone made the risotto right on the first try. It’s always about the risotto. Always. Is it that hard to make? What is it? Why is it so hard?

Tonight? Eye doctor, lets go and see exactly how my body is failing me the night before my birthday.
