I have not much to say today, my boss has left early without releasing the rest of us for the day, so we are sitting around looking at our other boss’ houses and how much they cost.
I have a hard life.
This weekend is filled with fun and sunshine, mostly. Dentist tomorrow (maybe the 1st cleaning I’ve gotten in over 10 years). Give my modern architecture tour after that, then wasting the rest of the day at the book fair.
Sunday we go to the fancy dog park in Libertyville and maybe introduce mom to Remo, which would be lovely.
So John and I are going to have to move, we’re thinking October. Again, I love my place, and even the area. But looking for something together, having all the time in the world, enough money to find what we really want, its all going to come together.
Why not buy you ask? Well, stupid mistakes we both made as youngsters number one, number two, I’m just not that anxious to buy, and number three, working where I work comes with certain benefits. One of those benefits is one of the coolest developments I’ve ever seen that’ll be going up in South Loop in about 3 years, it is beautiful and so cool and makes me little mouth water just looking at it. I can’t imagine myself living in the South loop, always been a northsider, but this is enough to make me move.
We’ll see. We have some growing up to do before we could ever think of owning.
At least anything bigger than a dog.
