Well my friends, things are going okay. I’m tired, I ain’t gonna lie. It makes it hard to sleep sometimes, when there’s an animal in your room. (And the dog too! HA!). No, but really, once we get settled, I think it’ll be great to have someone in the room, I think it’ll be cozy. But we all just have to get used to each other.
Rome wasn’t built in a day. But a dog could ruin it with pee in one.
We re-named the dog, his name now is Remo. We’re both much happier with this. We had been going back and forth, trying to come up with something, last night resorting to calling him “Sidewalk” and “television”. But then we were trying to come up with something that meant something to us as a couple (I wanted “Pip” real badly, from Great Expectations, orphan and all, but no-go). So I said Vegas! That was our first real vacation together. Then John shouts out “REMO!” which is where we stayed, the San Remo, and we loved it, total dive Vegas hotel, small and cheap. Perfect name. Come to find out its some kind of comics character, The Destroyer, so, now its all good.
And he’s really the best. We just need to get him housebroken and trained and he’ll truly be the best dog. We got really lucky. Although I do believe a dog is like a tattoo, and you get the one you deserve. And we deserved and received the cutest, sweetest, nicest pup you can imagine.
Sweet sweet Remo.

Are all your blogs going to be dog stories now? Remo Williams was a wonderful kinda-ninja character in a series of books that Dad liked. I did too, and I think Andrew as well. It was also a pretty bad movie with Fred Ward...is that redundant?
