Wow, 3 day weekend. And I’m still wiped.
Easter has come and gone, the 3 day weekend zipped by in a flash. I’m amazed by how much work Remo is, just in terms of time. Walking and grooming and petting and playing, then all of a sudden the day is over and I still have all the things to do I had to do before.
Thank you to John for actually doing my laundry, which is more than I could ever ask of anyone.
I hate doing laundry.
The pup is great, he’s learning some things, so far in two weeks we’ve taught him “sit” and “shake”, both of these things he chooses to do when he’s ready and acts slightly deaf when he isn’t. We got him groomed, the nice lady at the Petco told us they had to wash him twice cause he was still kinda stinky from the pound. He’s so shiny and good looking!
I too, spent a solid two hours at the hair place on Thursday night. Why oh why does it take so long to have one’s haircut and colored? Although I shouldn’t complain.
I believe my hair lady thinks that I’m poor.
I’ve been going to her for years for haircuts, I will usually color my hair myself, cause its so much cheaper and so much less time consuming. Well the home dyeing had caught up with me and I needed her help. She offered to color my hair for 20$, which any self respecting woman knows is cheap-ass. Then she offered to do my eyebrows for free one week. So she charged me 50$ for a color and cut, which really should have been a lot closer to 150$. I paid her, gave her a lovely tip (even thought it took two hours ugh) and told her next time I would give her full price.
She shook her head “no no, this is fine, you just pay me”.
I don’t know how to tell her I’m able to pay full price, and think that I probably won’t. I paid enough in my time, which lately, has become quite precious.
