Do I look different?

Older? More mature? Maybe more responsible looking?

Cause now I’m a mom. And even though John won’t let me call him “daddy”, which I COMPLETELY understand (although it is a hard habit to break), I am still the mommy.

And I like it, so far of course, it’s fabulous. I love having this little dog to think of and take care of and learn together. We’re pretty good at sit so far, he’s learning fast enough, he’s certainly not stupid, and that’s a big plus!

Our sleep last night was A LOT better, Daley/PonyBoy/Santino is doing a great job, he’s still very quiet, so smiley and eager to please. He is an absolute love.

I met the dogwalkers last night, the owner came over to meet Santino and he was so sweet and kind, I feel good about it. And PonyBoy gets a report card each time he’s walked, which I love.

Now it’s really a matter of me and John coming together and providing consistency and believe it or not, I think this might be the hardest part. We each have our way of doing things, and I don’t, DO NOT, want to be John’s mom and tell him how to train our dog, but if we’re both saying different things to Daley, then that’s going to make for a half trained dog, which is way too hard to deal with.

But obedience class will help all 3 of us I think, someone training us to train the dog, but I think it’s a good way.

In other non-doggy news, the crowns I got from my creepy dentist have turned out to be bad (I have a new dentist, he is the one who filled me in on this, but I had kinda gotten it cause of the pain emanating from my newly crowned teeth) and will have to be totally re-done. When I told new dentist who my old dentist was (they’re in the same building), new dentist said “You did the best thing you could have done for yourself by getting away from that guy” and I tend to believe him. New dentist is quick and short on words, but long on laughing and being quick and touching my shoulder to make sure I’m okay. Which I like.
