Ahh, I’m in a good mood today. I crinched my neck so badly I thought I was dying last night, and it hurts! But the mood remains good.
You know how sometimes you hold on to something too long at work? And you hold on to it so long, you’re embarrassed to ask about it or fearful you might have screwed something up? Well I just got rid of that huge pile of stuff and I feel relieved. And it was all fine, not even the blink of an eye.
I had to write a few more pieces for Chicagoist and of course I got all worried, wasn’t going to be able to finish…turned them both in this morning. BOOM! Hixx is kicking it.
I also just bought The Historian (thanks James!) and it’s a big beautiful book about Dracula, so tonight, since I finished all my work, I can go home with my heating pad and sit and read until Lost comes on. It’s a hard life I lead I tell you.
Valentines’ was fine, I saw my mom who had a new tooth in, so she was definitely less scary than she was. I brought her a snoopy and a card, she had flowers from my brother, but nothing from my stepfather. Nothing that I saw anyway, what a lame-o.
John and I didn’t do anything as we switched V-Day till March 9th. Again, I don’t remember why we did this, John conned me into it by saying it was more romantic or something. But its kinda nice, like a little secret, that I just put on to the world wide internets.
Tonight as we all know is the best tv night of the week. Lost, PR and me big book.
All is well today, all is well.

The Historian is a great read! I really liked it. Can't wait for another book from the author.
Yeah, so far I love it!
We have the same book tastes for sure. Ya?
