Quiet

Ahhh. Monday.

First off, the best thing about not “smoking smoking so far is the fallout from a cold. I had a doozy this weekend, and it is going away so much faster. Where is the horrible coughing? Where is the phlegm from everywhere? Believe me, its all still up in the nostrils, but dang, it is not in my lungs hardly at all. And that my friends, is huge.

Here is what else I learned this weekend:

Do not drink beer while having a cold.
Do not drink keg beer while having a cold.
At 35, rallying for a party and drinking keg beer will make you feel so horrible the next day its ALMOST not worth it.
Dancing in front of people when they’re not expecting it is funny.
Vince Vaughan and Crooked-Nose Wilson are not funny in Wedding Crashers. At all.
John makes the best baked ravioli ever in the whole world.
Exorcism movies that are rated PG are not scary.
Doing your laundry at the Laundromat is not always better than doing it at your crappy washer and dryer at home.
Microsoft word spell checks Laundromat if you try to do it lower case.
The Melrose is still the best comfort food diner in the city.
I have the warmest, coziest apartment I’ve ever had.

Learn from me readers. Learn from me.
