My lord, I’m busy.
This is the first day where I’ve really had a ton to do. And it’s all simple, but you gotta keep yourself organized. All kinds of things need to be signed, then organized, then signed again, then taken over there once all the signatures are there, but you gotta add in a bunch of stuff and then there’s a ton of little stuff to do and ahhhh! It’s great, seriously, I have no idea how it got to be 3:00 so fast. Love it.
Went to the pinewood derby car races this weekend. 22 cars were raced! And of course the one that looked like a piece of poo won the design prize. But it was fascinating to watch grown men turn into children in the best possible way. Normally we chicks don’t like to see that, but this time….all good.
The real mystery of the weekend is what happened to mom’s pants?
My brother calls on Saturday to let me know that mom has no pants. And when I say no pants, I mean literally, no pants. She wasn’t even wearing any! She couldn’t go to dinner or anything else, cause she had no pants.
Now, she has a private nurse who may or may not have taken the pants with her to wash, I have no idea. But what happened to the pants mom was wearing a few hours ago? I mean, how does one lose all ones pants?
So I got her some new pants, 3 new pairs in fact and I know she looks pretty.
She also told me I have a lazy eye.
John is out of town for two days and I’m on my own for two whole nights! In one way I’m excited as hell, in another, it’s going to be down right odd not to have him with me. Sleeping is going to be glorious and uncomfortable I think, a little of both.
The thing is, now I can listen to WGN all night if I want to. And I just might.
