Halloween lessons

Happy Halloweeeeeeeeen

There is officially no one here from my department. I am basically alone back here. Everyone’s got kids, my boss’ husband has a back injury (please don’t leave for good new boss, I like you! Rumor has it she was going to retire awhile back, please no new boss!).

So I’m sitting here once again, WLS and Roe Conn blaring away and half doing work and half not. There’s also cookies here. So that makes most everything okay.

The weekend was fun, fun weekend. Here’s a few things I learned:

I should not bother trying to add accessories I’m not used to. I left with a scarf on on Friday night, cute scarf, part of the outfit. I cannot tell you how many times it got stuck in my crotch as I walked. It was embarrassing and not cute at all. Scratch the scarf.

Little mouse girl from months back has been hanging around just long enough that now everyone is starting to sleep with her. Some doing it in a rather roundabout cheating kinda way. She’s pissing me off and I’m fascinated that anyone would touch her. Men are fascinating, and kinda gross sometimes. So are women, she’s just gotta go.

Graceland Cemetery is awesome. But better if you just go alone and not on a tour. I’m always fond of tours, but this one you really can do on your own and its way more peaceful that way. I cried a little for poor Louis Sullivan. Didn’t even have a headstone when he was buried, a private fund raised enough money for one years later.

Loft parties get harder and harder as I get older.

I have an “expressive face” its “young” and has a lot of “character”. YAY! Always nice to hear.

The Plague was most likely Bubonic Plague.

See? I learned a lot this weekend.

Mmm…cookie. Bell grande.

That is hilarious. I think I watched the SAME show on the plague. The Bubonic Plague, that is.

Also, who is the mousey girl? Not that I want to sleep with her...I just love theater intrigue like that.
