Goin' live in 2005

Okay folks, I won't be at work tomorrow so chances are I won't be writing in my blog.

So here goes:

Highlights and lowlights of 2004

-My kitty leaving her warm, insulated world
-Losing my improv team "Mr. Fancypants"
-Finished my National Novel Writing Month story
-Watching my friends open their branjy new theater
-The birth of my new nephew Jack or Hopscotch if you prefer
-The aquisition of a Gamecube
-I can't think of anything else, was it that mellow of a year?

It was a good year, I stayed in love and had a wonderful time with John, I had lots of fun with my friends, quit doing so much improv and liked it, saw my family some, went to Great America, saw Flickerstick!, read a ton, learned about politics and my country, lost a neighbor to San Francisco, all in all 2004 was a good year. I'm looking forward to 2005 and using my brain a lot more, and my body too, it's time to get myself moving.

2005

-Finish the architecture foundation docent program with flying colors, network and meet people who will help lead me to the next level of my "career"

-QUIT SMOKING

-Work on my relationship with John, move in together and work maturely through the myriad of problems that are sure to arrive.

-Fit in my THIN pants

-Buy more 7 1/2 size shoes

-Start volunteering to help the homeless and start my novel about the same, two birds, one big stone

-Keep moving, literally and figuratively

-See my family more, I realized how much I missed them at Christmas

So goodbye to bad elections and smelly presidents. 2005 is going to prove to be quite a year.
