7.5/24

Okay, this is a true story. Do not question me or second guess me. This happened and it happened to me. The horse's mouth so to speak. This is true, you heard it here first.

I went to Payless, because I love Payless. I'm not a big "shoe" girl and couldn't care less. I have a brown pair, a black pair and a comfy pair. Done and done. So I go to get my black pair cause my other black pair is worn to the ground, I actually was walking lopsided cause they were so worn out. SO! I go to Payless and find a lovely pair of black boots for 7$ and they're perfect. I try on the 8 1/2's, cause that's my size and has been since I was 2. They're too big, but they're wides, so I head to the 8's. The regular 8's are too big. I hesitantly head to the 7 1/2's...no way I'm thinking to myself can I be a 7 1/2. It's like me weighing 90 pounds, I may have been there once but it was for 2 seconds until my boobs grew.

So I try on the 7 1/2s and they fit! YES! Weird, but maybe that's why their 7$ right? I know what you're thinking...so I tried on the other 7 1/2's. THEY FIT TOO. I'm serious. I know it's out there folks. But my feet are shrinking. Either that or Payless is following Old Navy's route and making vanity shoes. So I think I have dainty feet. True story, no I swear, it's true. Bood.

We started our Christmas viewing of 24 last night. Me and John and his roomate barbera watched it last year. We would cuddle up on the couch in what was then their freezing cold apartment and watch 24 for hours. The thing I remember most was the music at the pause of the DVD's when we would make bathroom or cookie runs. It was always on, that music, I still hear it in my dreams. The apartment is warmer but the show is just as good. Barbera could hardly turn it off last night, freaking out about Jack Bauer and all of his heroin use. It really is the best of the best and I'm extremely nervous about what's going to happen. We've done 3 hours so far and I'm absolutely freaking out.

But tonight! Tonight is the Apprentice. I have to go, I have to go get ready.

If you're only three hours into "24" I won't spoil it for you. Needless to say, things don't get easier for special agent Jack Bauer, but he still maintains the Sutherland velvet tone thorughout.

Do things ever get easier for Jack Bauer?

EVER?

The most amazing thing is when you watch the first little bit and a TON happens. Then you see the clock and it says only 10 minutes have gone by.

HOW WILL JACK DO IT?

Sigh. I can't stand it.
