Ahhhhh, the end of November. The end of turkey, the end of my kitty (sorry) and the end of my "novel"
And now, I continue on with the Prince of Persia, I am 80% done and would like to finish before the 2nd of December when the new one comes out.
My, am I boring?
And it will only get more so. My plan for the month of December is to have lots of sex, look at Christmas lights, finish two video games (I know, that's a pretty big push) eat, smoke, go to Maine, eat chocolate, go to the gym, and generally sit on me ass and enjoy myself. I'm very much looking forward to it.
someone asked me the other day why they should love Chicago. And I swear, with my massive passion for this city, I couldn't name one thing. It's just what makes me happy. I was talking with my man about the fact that Chicago is a little repressed. And I like that, cause I'm a little repressed.
We're no fancy NYC with our creativity and "Crazy" people. Hell, even our homeless people are pretty relaxed. I like this. I love this. I love the peace and quiet that goes hand in hand with repression. I have no need to be the most creative one on the street, or in the city. I'm happy to be typing my pretty blog and dressing as simply and comfortably as I can while still looking like everyone else here.
The politics suck, the weather sucks, the creative forces are strong, but repressed.
I don't know exactly what there is to love about this city. Except for it's history and it's repressed understatedness.
Is that a word? Understatedness?
