At last, my arm is complete again!

Going to see Sweeney Todd tonight, I'm very much looking forward to it. My mother instilled in her daughter a great distrust of men and a great love of Stephen Sondheim. Oh, and a great sense of humor which is subjective.

Today I've got my New Yorker magazine, so I'm learning world events over local. Today I've learned about the Kurds and the Arabs and the unsolvable conflict of who owns their land. When Saddam was in power he subscribed to "arabification" and forced the kurds from their homeland and moved the Arabs right on in, assuring them the Kurds had been taken care of monetarily. Of course we know that's not true, the Kurds were forced into refugee camps and had the big bad WMDS used against them.

Well...now that that handsome cougar Saddam is out of power, the Kurds have all started moving right back in! And the Arabs are like "what the fuck is that about?" and now they're being forced out of their homes and everyone sees each side as getting benefits the other side didn't get. And apparently (because I believe everything I read, and the fact that I'm not done with the article yet) that the Americans are just not even touching this thing. Mainly because we're too busy helping to kill children and women!

The world is a fucked up place and that's why we should all go to see Sweeney Todd and watch fake people eat real people in meat pies.
