I'm so effing hot

Really, central air seems like a good idea. But when you thought you were going to make enough money to go to India by giving Boystown Tours - because it's a great idea and a great tour - and then no one comes, you have to save money for India from somewhere else so you decide not to run the central air, then central air seems like a terrible idea.

We got a shitty little air conditioner from a friend so we could just have air in the bedroom and the mutherfucker (I really just feel like swearing today so bear with me, it's helping)is so fucking loud you can't sleep. So then we got one of those fancy window fans and that just blows hot air on you and you can all say what you want but that fan theory that it sucks hot air out is such a load and I've always thought it was - ever since my stepfather told me that when I was a girl - what a fan does is blow air on you. Hot air in this case.

So basically now we have a shitty air conditioner and a fan and neither one helps us stay cool so we've been sleeping in hot sheets for a week now.

I give up.

I'm on my 5th week of NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON on the Boystown Tour and you can all tell me this and that but it fucking sucks a fucking nut. I'm all over the media, I'm all over the concierges, I'm offering free tickets...I just can't figure it out. I can't.

Not one single person.

I'm thinking after this concierge tour is over on Monday I'm going to set up a couple of standard "Skyscraper" tours and just let everyone see the tours they can see anywhere else and be done with it.

Hurumph.

Shit.

DON'T GIVE UP NOW!!! July is typically one of the slowest business months of the year... most people vacation in July. So unless you're actively targeting people who are tourists to our fair town, you've got to accept a bit of a slow period.

That doesn't mean you won't find a way through, though.

Also, cold baths are a wonder.

I know I know. Ugh. I'll get there. It's just really frustrating! But art always is right? ugh. Thanks Hendo!
