Don't Make Me Angry, You Won't Like Me When I'm Angry

Wow. So…okay, big night tonight no?

You know, I am always surprised that people don’t think like I do, because I gotta tell you, I’m damn smart…

But I’m always surprised to learn that friends of mine, people I respect, are voting for McCain. I can’t help it. I just can’t help it. And that damn Sarah Palin and her inciting, fear-mongering bullshit just keeps people smiling! Ain’t that great? Ain’t that great that she’s basically spreading the rumor that Obama ain’t nuthin’ but a domestic terrorist? I try really hard to see these fights for what they are, a bunch of people (Barack included) saying what they need to say to get the job done, and I try not to look too much further into it, but I just can’t help getting really angry that she’s pushing this domestic terrorist issue (Obama doesn’t feel the same way about this “great country” as I do bullshit). I just…what are you all thinking? WHAT?

Gay people don’t deserve to be beneficiaries of each other’s life insurance policies? That couples who have been together for 20 years don’t get to make life and death decisions about their partners? REALLY?

(My little Obama bobble-head just said “YES WE CAN” with no prompting from me)

That a young girl, 14 years old who has been raped by her father and gets pregnant is NOT ALLOWED to get an abortion? REALLY? This is what you want to vote for? Fine. Vote for it. Grrrrr.

Anyway, I hope Obama keeps his cool tonight, I hope John McCain shows himself to be what he really is (maybe we can get him to call his wife a c**t again, what a maverick!) and I hope the American public comes through in a month, and proves that all this nasty crap isn’t what makes us.

ON A HAPPIER NOTE:

Olivia Leigh, our wonderful photographer and a personal friend, posted some of her BEAUTIFUL pictures from the wedding on her blog. I’ve put some of my favorites on here, but here is the link to her website as well. Olivia is amazing and incredible and I recommend you all take a good hard look at her photos, because some day in the not so distant future, she’s going to be famous, and we are going to consider ourselves even luckier to have gotten her for our wedding.

Here is her blog:
