I gotta say, John and I are having…rough times. NOT in terms of our relationship or anything horrible like that, but just…rough times. Things are getting in the way of ease and simplicity and I just need to stress that he is the most incredibly amazing human being, because even through poop that we’re going through separately and together, last night he had me laughing through tears, he really is something, and he’s quite handsome too.

So let’s see, I finished HP and the Order of the Phoenix and feel like Rowling went back to pre-Goblet of Fire. I think what’s going on here is that Rowling never had a master plan, which is FINE, but she didn’t…and the books can kind of…ramble. Goblet had such a strong plotline and Phoenix just kind of went rambling along again. I started reading an old PJ O’Rourke book, Parliament of Whores, all about the 1988 election and it is so damn funny. I love it.

Now, here’s something that’s been making me giggle, I saw it on Zulkey’s site. Hello Zulkey! Yes, I know, I said I wasn’t going to read anymore, but I believe you’re getting married and I like to see what you say about it because I’m about to run to Vegas and marry John there, whether he comes with me or not.
