Stuff

Man, another good mood today. I’m chalking it up to the weather of course, but I also think its because I’ve been working my ass off exercising and eating better (besides last night when I had mac and cheese AND a grilled cheese, I know I know, I will never complain in ISHT again!), but I really have been eating better.

ANYWAY, I’m a little all over the place today, I have so many things racing through my head about weddings (how did it get to be 4.5 months away?), little trips in upcoming weeks, little job things I need to follow, TV shows I need to follow! so this may be a little disparate, so sue me.

Okay, thanks to everyone on the bakery/cake/cupcake/sofuckingexpensive discussion. I’m thinking mini-cupcakes, all different colors, would just be really cute, and then a small cake for cutting, etc. Whoever doesn’t like my minicupcakes idea should not be attending the wedding anyway, because if I had known from the beginning we would not be friends anymore, because minicupcakes rock almost as hard Girlicious.

I didn’t get to watch Idol last night, but I caught a few of the clips at the end and had the strongest feeling ever that David Cook is going to win. I don’t much care one way or t’other since my Aussie boyfriend (just Aussie boyfriend, no one has replaced Heath as my boyfriend boyfriend just yet) got kicked off. I’m still down with Idol though; I’m just not really vested in anyone.

I’m not sure how I rated it really, but I can tell you I’ve now had the Foodstuffs “make your own” salad a bajillion times and its pretty good. If you’re in the Mart, besides Potbelly, it’s the best salad in there. They have good fixin’s.

I have good fixin’s.

Okay, next advice question, travel agents? We’re going to Thailand and I just really don’t want to do it all over the internet, I’d love someone to help us who really knew what the fuck they were talking about, had been to Thailand, really knows, any ideas?

Also, anyone use neti pots? My nose is constantly stuffy, I thought it would go away with smoking, but no such luck, I really don’t think its allergies because I have it year ‘round, or maybe its year ‘round allergies! But yeah, anyone use ‘em?

Hey Margaret, longtime lurker, first time commenter (I think?) My boyfriend LOVES his neti pot. I've used it twice and don't really care for the burning sensation (to me it feels like doing a somersault underwater without holding your nose,) but he swears by them.

Hey Jill!

Thanks for the info. I guess I coudl try it right? I do see how it could feel a tad like purposely drowning yourself, which really, is not that much fun.
