Happy Valentimes

First off, thank you to my handsome fiancé for my beautiful flowers, they are just lovely. Our Valentine’s Day is on Sunday, so I got me some pretty flowers here at the office today. They’re gorgeous, just gorgeous!

You know, everyone knows I love me some John, but he is really an exceptional human being. I honestly don’t know how I lucked into this man, but I’m so glad I did. I’m so proud of him, so impressed by him…his professional life is going extremely well right now and every single bit of it is due to his hard work, his likeability and the fact that he went for it, asked for what he wanted, asked again for what he wanted, and then was happy and pleased when he got it. I love seeing him so happy and am so glad that I even had any part to play in his success. Yum.

Now, let’s get on to Ogre pushing around poor Chet last night on Survivor! Oh my god, that was so horrible to watch, honestly, I was yelping at the TV. I thought it was damn close to abuse what was happening and I’m so freaking glad that he’s gone. And I go back and forth with Cerie, but I loved this move.

And holy Toledo, does Ozzy just get better and better? Yeehaw! He is so awesome, and I love Amanda killing the shark too. I like them together; they could really fall in love with each other like Ambah and Rob and totally win the game. They’re in a very similar position and with Ozzy’s awesomeness…well, that’s what I’m rooting for anyway.

So tomorrow begins the first day of dress shopping. I have a posse of pussy (sorry, I had to) to take with me to Old Orchard. We’re going to hit the “regular” stores first, I’m not even sure I can step into a bridal shop honestly, at least not yet. I don’t know what my hang up is about the dress, about a “wedding” dress, but there’s just something off about a gown, a veil, a train…a “bridal” shoppe…I just…want to go to a normal store.

The ladies have promised we can go to The Cheesecake Factory afterwards. I’m okay with that.

And my fabulous best woman has promised me that she will try on a dress for every one that I try on, which makes me giggle to no end, and makes the whole day much easier to look forward to.
