So! Hi! Day after the race.
Feel awesome. A little tight but barely even sore. So proud, feel so good. Feel so good don’t even have to use “I” in sentences.
Anyway, that day is going down in history as one of the great days.
I’m getting a massage tonight (going to Erin again Speedy!), because my shoulders and neck are up by my ears and are as tight as drums. You know, before my neck event a few weeks (months) ago, I felt it, I knew everything was tight and I couldn’t relax it all and I had the active thought that something was going to happen, and it did. So I figure I’ll just nip this in the bud. I feel slightly silly thinking that I “need” a massage, but I know lots of people swear by them, that they help put things back where they’re supposed to be, and Dr. Oz says we should all have them! So…yeah.
Maybe getting into some yoga will help this as well. I have horrible posture and I’m working on that, but I know running must not help, yeah so anyway, I’m getting a massage tonight. YAY!
Now that I’ve done the Shuffle, I need to come up with my next goal.
Any ideas?

did you know about this site? cararuns.org? also that fleet feet has fun runs every other day throughout lincoln square? this excites me. when i was drunk did i tell you i bought the nike+? I DID! but it doesnt work with my stupid freaking nordic track (it said i ran .007 mile in 7:44 which is sad and not true! i ran 1 mile nike+ ONE WHOLE ONE YOU JERK) so i have to start running outside. I AM AFRAID OF THIS and will probably email you soon for tips, if that's okay. but i am proud of leaving you the longest blog comment ever. way to go, me.
Gennnnnnnna! you look great by the by.
You did tell me about the Nike thing, and get off the treadmill! I promise, by the third time you run you won't ever want to get back on it again.
I promise.
Yay Hixxxx! I ran too, with my mom. I saw Erin, but not you. Where did you go? If you are ever interested in running around the 'hood, I'd be down. Fuck the treadmill. I hate that worthless machine.
