Terminator

Due to a lot of hard work last week, and a most excellent boss, Hixx has off today and can I just say one thing?

I AM A MACHINE.

A total machine. After a fun weekend, an early morning boat tour, lunches, softball games, improv shows and good friends, I had gotten nothing done as of 10:00 last night.

Lo and behold I wake up this morning with the wrath of competence. Here it is, around 3:00 and so far I:

Walked the dog twice. Good walks too, no bullshit “around the block” walks.

Wrote a Chicagoist post.

Ran for 30 minutes.

Went to the bank and closed out an old checking account.

Bought a scale (yay Baby! You’re going to like this one)

Had a turkey sub crisper at Eat a Pita, my favorite.

Cleaned the bathroom.

Cleaned the living room.

And now here I am, writing this blog piece.

What I have left to do:

Finish off one more writing thing then?

Sit on my ass.

I think I might watch An Inconvenient Truth. That way, even though I’m sitting on my ass, I still feel like I’m helping the ENTIRE world.
