SRF

So, I feel a thousand times better, the tooth thing has definitely cleared up. In the interest of full dental disclosure that I’ve had on my blog, I managed to somehow pick a small piece of bone from out of my “dental hole” (in quotes so as not to be confused with any of my other “holes”) that I’m quite suspicious of in my everlasting pain. The antibiotics and the removal of left over bone have gotten me close to as good as new. So thank you to everyone who felt my pain even if they didn’t want to, and to all the well-wishers. I am feeling fine.

Also, tomorrow is my first day of the River Training at the Architecture foundation. When I first thought about becoming a docent this was what attracted me. After two years of giving walking tours, which I love, I am finally bound for the boats! I am truly, truly excited about this and know in my heart there is about nothing I would rather do than get up on some July hot morning, get my ass to the boats and entertain and educate a hundred people on the beauty of this city. I’m really stoked.

So I said Survivor Recap Friday might go on the other blog, but I’m not feeling it, so it’s staying on the this blog.

So wow, okay, a lot happened last night. What happened…

They merged. Thank god. And although my first thought was NO WAY THEY GET TO STAY ON MOTO, I realized quickly that Mark Burnett has done a lot wrong on this season of Survivor, but my man is not stupid enough to let the rest of the Survivors stay on the fancy beach. And I loved that the whole thing was gone when they got there. Poor Mookie, he was like a petulant child because he never got to sleep on the bed. HA! Sorry Mooks.

As much as I like Mooks I think he’s teetering on a dangerous precipice. He should be leading Hot Alex and Half Hairy Edgardo down a path of total trust, and they’re just not falling for it. I worry about Mooks.

I thought that splitting the group into two was slightly interesting, but it’s still just too much. Now I’m confused about who was original Moto, who was original Ravu, there’s been too many team switches. I don’t appreciate this confusion, part of the fun, AGAIN, is to watch if the everyone goes with a team alliance, or a personal alliance and now its just so all over the place. I understand that maybe that’s the point, that the alliances can’t stand up to all this change, but then what’s the point? It’s dumb.

The best moment of last night was watching Probst expertly lead Alex into who he was voting for, and I love that Alex was totally fine with it and used it to his advantage as well. It worked, that’s for sure and now Mooks is in trouble AGAIN for not following Alex’s decision like everyone else did. Dreamz screwed him and we’ll see that next week.

I’m curious to hear how YaoMan will do in individual immunities, he seems to be one of the only capable Survivor’s this year and I think he might end up doing really well.

I’m also curious about Boo, he seems to be flying under all kinds of radars. What’s his deal?
