Survivor Recap THURSDAY

I’m not even going to say anything about the weather okay? I know I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again for however many springs I have left, but today, I’ll just keep it to myself.

OH MY GOD WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FUCKIN’ DAY!

Whoops.

Man, I finished The Time Traveler's Wife last night in bed. I think my sheets are still soaking wet from my weeping. I'm not really sure what I think of the book yet, I need to process somethings and think about it, but there is no denying that I literally had tears streaming down my face, snorting and sobbing like a wee girl. I'm so malleable.

Okay, so it’s not Friday, but its time for Survivor Recap anyway, so here we go.

First off, let us mourn the island death of nerdy Anthony. My MVP is gone. I’m second to last in my Fantasy Survivor pool and its VERY upsetting. I thought Anthony was going to pull it through considering Rocky’s unbelievable bullshit at Tribal, but alas…he is gone.

No matter, because with the switching of the buffs, the game just got better again. Thank you thank you thank you.

Let’s see, so the two teams had to switch it up, this is the kind of change to the game I don’t mind. Let’s keep those guys on their toes, fine by me. A mid game team switch never hurt anyone (except maybe Lisi, and in her case, again…fine by me).

There’s the team of studly men and the team of … not.

I think the dudes are going to get way ahead of themselves and thinking that they’re fabulous, but last night’s immunity challenge showed them…they are not immune in immunity. (Shit, I’m brilliant today).

Can I just say that the immunity challenge with the poles and trying to get around the maze was one of the best challenges ever? Cause it was. I loved it, I thought it was totally creative and cool. YAY Survivor!

Also, I’m way way way into Alex and Ed starting to run this game. Alex is sort of an “everyman” thinking what we’re all thinking at home. He seems to have a good heart and a smart head and thinks a lot like I would think if I were on the island. And Ed with his cute little accent, well, those two are a powerhouse I think. And they should be, they seem like they’re making rational decisions.

But also, I’m really liking Earl taking over his team too. I love his strategy of “putting the ideas in to someone’s head”; leading them to the answer he wants them to have instead of him out and out saying it. Plus, he seems to love Yaoman, and I love Yaoman, so therefore, I love Earl.

I’m glad Lisi got stuck on stupid exile and it’ll be fun to watch this obnoxious woman head back into the group led by Alex and Ed, who already don’t like her.

I do think its picking up a little bit. I just hope when they merge they have to stay at shit camp. Because a bunch of rested, well fed and happy survivors does not an entertaining final four make.
