Okay, can I just say that the weather today changes everything? I swear it changes my actual molecular make-up. I forget completely every year how this changes me. I wonder often if I should live in a warmer place because of how it affects me. And then I wonder if I lived in it all the time, would I hold the same sway that it does today? Because I haven’t forced myself to get through winter? I don’t know, and I don’t care, because today is Friday it’s warm, I have a date tonight with a very handsome man and I can walk the other love of my life in peace and warmth without weeping.
On to SRF. Another detailed recap for Rachelle, who is STILL IN HAWAII.
Again, what a sad girl she must be.
Okay, it got a little bit better last night. I’ve decided that Mark Burnett is trying to equate Survivor with the ill wills of the world. Some comment from Probst last night was something about “the wealth of one team and the poverty of another”, and him trying to some degree to bring racism into it, and I just thought dude, stop. Survivor is the ultimate game of human interaction, there is no need to reflect society on the game. It is already reflective of the human condition. Once again. Leave it be.
But, it was a bit better last night. The reward challenge had members from each team trying to push each other off a big circle. Moto just killed Ravu AGAIN. It was really painful to watch. Each person that got knocked into the mud made me weep. Until of course Yao-Man became the only Ravu member to actually knock someone off. I’ve decided I’m rooting for Yao-Man, he seems to be respected at camp and does alright in the challenges because of his light agility. And I’ve also decided I’m going to start calling Remo Yao-Man.
Anyway, Ravu loses again, now Moto has 3 sets of fishing gear. Whatever.
So the immunity challenge is basically a big memory game. Whoever can get the most matches wins. So it looked alright, it was neck in neck and then stupid Rocky goes out for an obvious win and blanks, he just can’t remember where the next card is. That’s okay though, he was expecting one thing and got another and kind of freaked.
So it really looked like my buddy Anthony was going to go last night again, I’m really not sure why everyone hates him so much, he’s so mild mannered. Anyway, there were a couple of close ups of Rita just talking and talking about makeup and then as Ravu figured out that they reason they lost the memory game was because everyone was talking over everyone and Rita just kept talking over everyone, well, it sealed her fate.
And man, did those Moto girls get mean or what? I think it was Alex (who just got arrested for assaulting police officers after a Survivor party) who said this was a game of almost immediate karma and those girls are getting themselves into hot water. And then! When he predicted about Dreamz and whatshername wanting to defect to the other team…essentially, Alex is the smartest one on Moto.
But next week, looks like buffs switch up and the teams get all mixed up. Which is good I think, but I would have liked for Ravu to win just once.
