SRF!

Okay, so a couple of opinions here, 2 yeses (yesses?), and a cryptic yes from Sammy. No one said “HELL NO! I’m not reading your Survivor Recap Friday!”, so we’re going full steam ahead.

First off, how great is it to have a new Survivor right after the old one? Love it Mr. Burnett! Also, in the middle of watching The Hills, I realized that Tivo didn't know to tape Survivor FIJI, so I missed a bit, but thank god I remembered!

Okay, so I did miss the first 15 or so minutes, but it seems like they all made it to some island all together, which I have to admit, I really liked. Them all living together and getting to know each other is going to have an interesting bearing I think, at least in the first few eps. Eventually it won’t matter that they were all friends, but it was interesting to see how much they bonded and liked each other right off.

I’m not sure how I feel about the two different camps, it seems too forced. Like Burnett got scared there wasn’t enough drama, but there is already, that’s why Survivor rules, because it’s so different each time, you don’t need to create more want. It’s sort of like that experiment where the kids in the classroom turn into Nazis. Remember? First the blue eyed people feel special, then the brown eyed people do. It just doesn’t seem necessary.

I think the new Exile Island is pretty scary; those freaking snakes would make me cry and cry and cry. Exile Island has become a truly scary place to be, I like that. And I like that one of the idols is hid at camp, didn’t that happen once before?

In my fantasy survivor game a lot A LOT of people picked Dreamz to be their MVP. But not the Hixx, I’m way to smart for that. I hope I don’t offend any homeless people reading my blog, but there’s no way that guy can keep it together in a huge group of people, where race is going to come up, money is going to come up, competition, the whole thing, I just don’t think he can hold it together. Rocky seems to be the only other really loose cannon in the bunch so far.

I picked this guy, Anthony, to be my MVP and I could switch him, but I’m not going to.

I’m going to keep him. Although the only other person I might have switched to is Papa Smurf, I think he’ll make it pretty far, but not all the way.

So yeah, some chick got voted off, doesn’t matter who this early in the game. We don’t even know them yet. Oh, and you know what? I like Mookie! The Chicago guy, hopefully he can hang in there so I can write some Chicagoist posts that only Rachelle and I can understand.

SURVIVOR RECAP FRIDAYS ARE BACK!
