WHO IS? I AM!
Okay, today for Kinda Hot Wednesday we’re going to talk about the oddly sexy, Tom Colicchio from Top Chef.
Here’s a strange picture of him with hair. Yuck.
I’m not really sure what it is I think is oddly sexy about him, but I have a few guesses. He reminds me a lot of an old boss that I had who I really loved, not in a LOVE kind of way, but in an older brother kind of way. My boss was actually not my type at all (which is a good thing right?) but I really loved him. So Tom has that look to him, but doesn’t look like him at all.
Also, anyone who knows what they’re doing is pretty sexy. Which is why I have no sex appeal at work.
The shaved head thing is usually not for the Hixx, I definitely think men with shaved heads are sometimes much sexier with the shaved head (Mr. Michael Jordan for example), but it’s not my go-to. So there’s a part of me that finds it odd that I like it on Mr. Colicchio.
Also, I love how he really keeps it together on Top Chef, granted, he’s no Tim Gunn with the funny lines and the mentoring, but he somehow manages to keep his cool with stupid Padma Lakshmi, and I always see him as a pretty down to earth guy who catches the Top Chefs in their lies or screw ups.
His knowing smirk and his distinctive voice just add to the sexy. When we were in Vegas, I looked for him everywhere, cause I also figure the guy knows how to have a party, but alas, no sign of the ultimate Top Chef.
I’m sure he’ll be happy to know he made my 2nd ever edition of Kinda Hot Wednesdays.
