There is one thing I’ve been waiting for for almost two years.
One thing that has driven me, inspired me, consoled me, asked me to hang on, to live another day, to just make it to this one final day and everything would be fine.
That one thing?
The Legend of Zelda – Twilight Princess.
I’ve played the Zelda games since the original Nintendo when all Link was just a little green hat blowing away little green hedges. I’ve been collecting rupees for years, saving up for a grapple hook or fire arrows. I have followed my friend through each change, playing my Ocarina and riding my horse.
John bought me the Gamecube two years ago Christmas, just so I could play Twilight Princess. It was supposed to be released last November, then last December, then this November and now the date for the Gamecube release of this game is scheduled for December 11.
Now, for the heartbreaking news. Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is now available for the Wii.
But not for the cube.
Know what’s even sadder? John is going to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving, the whole weekend. I’ll be here spending time with my family. But that means I have the entire weekend to myself. A lonely, but quiet weekend. Hmmm…what goes well with a weekend like that?
You guessed it, Twilight Princess. Except I can’t play it. Not for another few weeks.
And that? Sucks.
On a lighter note, please allow me to introduce to you Prince Remo.
