Oooweeee, its cold outside.
This is the time of year when everything for me becomes about being cozy.
John likes to make fun of me for being so cozy. But see, he’s male, so it’s hard for him to understand about being cold all the time, because he has no eggs to keep warm.
As soon as I arrive home on a cold, blustery night, I change into “comfy” pants. These include sweat pants, or I have a pair of really fuzzy pants, or pajama bottoms. The top layer consists of a sweatshirt or some other cozy soft thing. Doesn’t everyone change their work clothes as soon as they get home? Am I the only one? John finds it strange he never sees me in my work clothes cause the first thing I do when I walk in the door is take my clothes off, and not in a sexy way.
Cozy socks come next, slipper socks are the best so I don’t swish around on the hardwood floors.
Next comes the couch, the cozy one, we have two. One’s leather, the other one is not, I sit on the not-leather one. Leather is not cozy. Unless you are Pinky Tuscadero.
There are now two blankets on the cozy couch, one lighter one for less cold nights, one heavier one for nights like tonight, where the cold is unexpected.
The coup d’etat is the heated back pad I got once for a backache, now I use it as a mini-heated blanket and just stick it under my back and turn it up full notch.
And now, with the addition of a very soft and warm doggy, the cozy has come full circle and I am officially set for the cold.
At least while I’m inside.

THANK YOU!
See? I knew it.
Girls like comfy clothes, not work clothes, even if work clothes ARE comfy clothes.
I'm with you too! First thing I do is change when I get home. Holy Moses yes.
Sister, I have TWO one-piece PJs, and one of them has FOOTIES. Now THAT is some sexy. I look like a 5'2 jellybean.
