Bread, please? Bread

Guh.

Meat meat and more meat. Who does this? WHO PEOPLE? WHO?

I’m fascinated by my experiment of cutting out sugar and carbs (maybe not altogether, but a lot more then I ever have before, ever). I do find myself going through absolute withdrawal symptoms, headache, nausea (from all the meat I’m sure!), moodiness, etc.

But seriously, I cannot eat more chicken, more beef, more anything. I was telling John not too long ago that big chunks of meat are unappetizing to me. I like chicken, it’s good, but a big ole hunk of chicken is foul (fowl). I love ground beef, but a big ole steak on my plate is horrifying.

But attempting for however long, to cut out the massive amounts of sugar I eat from bread, fries, chocolate is really fascinating. I feel worse and better all at the same time. Definitely not as sleepy as I usually am, but god, I feel awful too.

Now my new thing is getting the new Mehmet Oz diet book, he’s Oprah’s new guy, and like a Chicagoista said “he’s saying the same thing everyone says, eat less, less fat, more fiber, no corn syrup” and I know all that, I really do.
What I do like about the Oz book is that it tells you why. I’m sure lots of books do that, but I like to know that kind of stuff I think. And I think he’s big on no one diet for every person thing, that everyone’s different. I dunno, we’ll see.
Anyway, I got a new desk. I’m way tucked behind everything, right by the window which looks right out on the brown line. I can say hi to everyone when you pass by. I’m sitting right here.

Weird.
