Okay, as I sit here watching Oprah telling me how to lose weight, I have made the decision that I will keep posting pictures the way I always have.
I tried the Flickr, I didn't like it. Maybe as I get more used to taking care of my pics and having people see them, it will make more sense to do it. But for now, I appreciate my simple picture viewer that's right on my computer.
Okay, so Ann Arbor?
It was awesome.
I got there Friday and met my new friend/baby, Frank Izzo. Frank is just about two months old (my god, really?) and is a charmer. Trish and Dan are so great with him, it's a pleasure to see. It was so fun to be a part of this little family.
Dan then took me to the Inferno to see my friend Sabrina who is a soulmate friend. We've been friends for going on some 6 years or so and nothing, including terrorists, can change it. No matter our changes, she remains a true friend, and I'm proud of her, for so many reasons, opening a club, opening her heart, opening her mind, etc. She is exceptional and I'm proud to call her my best friend.
The club was great, still bringing people in, even during the art fair of Ann Arbor. Their waitstaff and barstaff are unreal, so nice, the performers are friendly and humble and the drinks are strong.
Very strong.
Saturday Sabrina and I wandered around the city, looking at the good and the bad art. This pic is a wax lady maid, she's not real. Cool huh?
Ann Arbor is beautiful, but I wonder how anyone lives in a college town. My jealousy rises as I see these 19 year old girls, who have their whole lives ahead of them, no bad credit, no fuck ups, ahhh...youth.
Saturday night we played pool, ate some food, and did the X Show, the "dirty" midnight show at the Inferno, which is always a blast, just getting on stage with Dan and Sabrina is enough to make me cry.
Sunday, I somehow managed to get on an 8:30 train to come home.
Only to find this meal of lobster tails, ribeye steak, twice baked potatos, asparagus and the best corn ever waiting for me.
My boyfriend rules.
It's nice to be home.
But I love me friends. Thank you Izzos and Harp, it's always hard to leave.
This pic of Sabrina, I messed with a bit, that was fun.

Yeah see? That's what I want. With Flickr and Picasa it seems so hard to put more than one photo in to my blog post.
I want that thing that does it like email entries but with easy photo things too.
I still have some learning to do I suppose.
ergh.
Very pretty design! Keep up the good work. Thanks.
