Burn this

Okay, so my sickness doesn’t seem so bad, I still feel “off”, kinda light-headed and weird, but I’m definitely not SICK, so off to Ann Arbor I go.

I have talked before on my blog about my friends Dan and Sabrina. Those two people are my very best friends, my favorite people, and two people that have had a tangible impact on my life. They left Chicago to open the Improv Inferno in Michigan, and open it they have.

They’re almost on their second year now, and they rule.

Plus, PLUS, my friend Dan had a little Boobalah almost two months ago now, and it is time I met the heir to the Izzo throne.

Plus, PLUS, the club has a full bar (and is huge) and I’m like a rockstar when I walk in there. I can just saunter up, order what I please and since I’m best friends with the owners, I get what I demand! Which is like…a beer. But still.

I perform when I’m there too, which is way fun. Because…well…because the audiences are a little greener. They’re not looking for John Candy or Michael Meyers. They’re so ready to laugh, and the bigger and brighter you play, the more they like it.

And I get to talk to my friends. I just get to sit and talk to them and marvel at their accomplishments and eat breakfast and stare at babies and laugh and catch up and sit outside in gardens and walk around and…I’m excited to go.

John is staying here so I can get the full-on Dan/Sabrina effect, so I will miss him, and my small pup, but I can’t wait.

For some odd reason I booked my train ride home at 8:30 on Sunday morning. I wonder if I’ll still be breathing.

Bye pup.
