Well, do I really have more to write about today?
Maybe I do.
Tuesday night, I felt really icky from my cold. John was getting over his cold and was coughing, Remo was up and anxious, sleeping was a nightmare. I took Remo out early in the morning, like 2:00AM, he did nothing, I felt terrible, I tried to sleep on the couch, that didn’t work. Overall it was just a really icky night.
John had Wednesday off as I trudged off to work, in a total haze, feeling icky and upset about it all.
John alerts me during the day that “all my bases are covered” for the evening (one of the best tv nights ever).
When I get home, there’s candles burning, the house looks nice, there’s beautiful tulips on the table and a bowl-full of Hershey’s Kisses. There’s an US Magazine on the couch and my “favorite” dinner is being cooked in the kitchen (grilled cheese, fries, asparagus and a little bit of mac and cheese, delicious!) and the dog is walked and fed.
It was just one of the things that makes John amazing. I hear women on Oprah who always wish that their husbands/boyfriends would do something like this for them, that its like pulling teeth.
But with John, he does sweet things like this all the time. It was really…nice and sweet and wonderful.
He’s very caring that sweet man o’ mine.
Be jealous ladies, be very jealous.

Yeah, but then he doesn't have a job, does he? He better be coming up with some pretty good house-husbandry.

wow. okay I read your blog now cuz you are just so awesome. BUT I am now double sure that we need to double date because my feller did the same thing for me on the SAME DAY!!! WHAT is UP with THAT??? Do you have the other half of this locket because I think we might be hermanas or something.
