Mend

One of those very busy days, where time flies away from you. I have so much on my mind, all, well mostly, good things and all of a sudden, there’s no time left in the day!

Went to get my little mouth surgery checked out today, I really love this place, but they’re dental specialists, not general dentists, so I can’t go there all the time. But if you need them Lincoln Park Dental Specialists on Clark. The thing is, they told me this surgery would hurt for 2 days.

After mine hurt for over a week, I was really worried. I tried to get in early for a check up, I was scared I had an infection or “dry socket”, for awhile it was untouchable by pain reliever. I was so nervous going in there today, they were going to tell me it healed all wrong, they were going to have to do some sort of horrible emergency surgery.

When she asked me how the tooth was I said “actually, I’ve been having a lot of trouble with it, it still hurts, still really tender” and she said “yes, that’s normal”.

Well why didn’t you tell me a week and a half ago that that was normal!? Argh. Anyhoo, got a clean bill of health, its mending smoothly and she even removed my stiches so gently I didn’t feel a thing. They’re so nice there. Anyway, it feels almost back to normal, but still no nuts! DANG! I love nuts!

Who is scared to death by the news? Anyone? I’ve always been scared by the news and believe that is partly what the news is there for, to scare us. But this huge ship sinking? Thousands of dead pets? Puppies being slit open to transport drugs? Planes crashing? What is going on? Good thing there’s no war on…wait…

Speaking of puppies, ours will be here in a month and a half roughly. We’re going away in mid March, we will start looking for our mutt then. That must mean he might be being born right now! Or is still so tiny he can’t open his (her actually, we’re getting a her) little eyes.

Hi little puppy!
