Ugh, today feels longer than most.
First off, a piece of advice for bloggers, do not go to lunch with people who read your blog. Then you will have nothing to say and all your good stories will just be redundant.
Second Piece of advice for novelists: Don’t say your book is true if it isn’t, apparently it will get you into miles of trouble.
I love “A Million Little Pieces” I think it’s a great book. If its not true, is it still a good book? Yes. It lessens it for me, the impact of the book, but I still think it’s a great story, I like the way he writes (it feels like how I think in my head) and will still recommend it to people, just maybe not as much. Should the guy be vilified for what he did? No. I mean, I dunno. If you go on Oprah and talk about your non fiction book and say that yes, indeed, all these things happened to me, then maybe you should be vilified.
It all just seems so mean! Am I a wuss? I guess he’s going to be on Larry King tonight, I would love to see him speak about this. But how am I supposed to do this when both Lost and Project Runway are on? How I ask you? How?
The other thing I learned today is the song “you oughta know” Alannis Morisette, was about Dave Coullier! FROM FULL HOUSE! Can you believe that? I’m tripping, seriously.
And the last piece of celebrity news is of course Brad and Angelina. Little big lipped cheating baby.
