The one picture is from the 2nd prize winner in the Tribune Tower Contest of 1925, obviously not the winner eh? However Eliel Saarinen's design was incredibly influential, as you can see from the building below it, 181 W. Madison by Cesar Pelli. The pictures are weird, but it is basically the same building, with some modern touches. A lovely representation of postmodernism in Chicago.

And for anyone that works with me, this is the other building we're attched to. Neat huh?
