HALMIES

Is there something very wrong with me blog?

The moment you’ve all been waiting for:

The Mies/2001 Space Odyssey connection.

Just even me saying that, you’ve probably figured it out, but it has to do with some kind of mathematics. Some kind of “perfect” formula that our fabulous speaker didn’t go into, but I’m sure some of you will understand.

First off, can anyone, ANYONE, teach me how to list a website but call it by a different name? So for example, the picture of the 2001 monolith is here: http://employees.csbsju.edu/rsorensen/modelcitizen/gallery/scratch/obelisk.jpg

But come on right? I’d rather just type “Monolith” and have you be able to get it. How do I do that?

So the monolith is what? A big black box yes?

Now, look at the IBM building:
http://usa.archiseek.com/illinois/chicago/ibm_lge.html

Neat huh? Not sure what it means exactly, but I think it’s neat that it means something. If anyone can explain more about the monolith (was it supposed to represent God?) and the mathematical meaning behind this. Lemme know.

Or how to do that web page thing.

Tomorrow, the corner problem.
